Why is there almost no references or acknowledgements given to Field Marshal Lord Alanbrooke in 'this web site'? Considering the immense strategic planning input and influence he had as CIGS during WW2 one would assume that historians, military or otherwise, would at least give credit to his outstanding contribution to the Allied war planning and its resultant successes. Churchill nearly wrote him out when he published his efforts after the war, is everyone else attempting the same?
